FAQ
We are a boutique advisory team helping South African families and entrepreneurs secure Cyprus property and residency with confidence.
On the South African side, your main contact points are Freddie Terblanche from Terblanche Law Office in Cape Town and Adriaan van den Berg ex-lawyer living in Warsaw, who understand the realities of life and business in South Africa.
We work in close cooperation with Protrust Real Estate in Warsaw, who specialise in vetted Cyprus developers and coordinate with experienced Cypriot lawyers and service providers. Together, we create a seamless bridge between South Africa → Poland → Cyprus so you don’t have to navigate the system alone.
Because this is not just about buying an apartment — it’s about designing a Plan B that actually works for a South African family.
We understand South African context: currency risk, exchange control, SARS, schooling, safety and succession.
Protrust and their Cyprus partners provide local, on-the-ground verification of projects and developers.
You benefit from a joined-up process: property, residence and basic structuring considerations discussed from day one.

No. We are advisers and coordinators, you will be working with local law firm and tax advisor in Cyprus.
In South Africa, you should always work with your own tax and legal advisers regarding SARS, tax residency, trusts and exchange control.
In Cyprus and the EU, all immigration, property and corporate legal work is carried out by qualified local lawyers that we introduce via Protrust.
Our role is to connect the dots: make sure the right professionals talk to each other, help you ask the right questions, and ensure the process stays practical and understandable.
There are no hidden buyer’s commissions.
For property, our fees are typically covered by the developer or local partners, so you pay the same or less than if you tried to negotiate alone.
If you ask us for separate planning or project work (for example, detailed scenario analysis or custom structuring support), we agree the scope and fee upfront in writing.
Transparency is non-negotiable for us: you will always know who is paid by whom and for what.
